Sousse: Security Forces Dismantle Illegal Network Operating Under “Massage Center” Cover; Five Detained

As part of ongoing efforts to combat organized crime, security units in Sousse, in coordination with the Public Prosecution, successfully uncovered a network exploiting a licensed “massage center” for illegal activities. The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals involved in the scheme.

Operation Details: Based on precise intelligence and continuous monitoring, security forces revealed that the center was using health and wellness services as a front for unauthorized practices. Following a strategic raid, five (5) individuals were caught red-handed, including the center’s operator and several accomplices managed the illicit activities.

Legal Procedures: Evidence was gathered, and the case file was referred to the Public Prosecution, which ordered the detention of the five suspects. Charges include “running a brothel” and engaging in unlicensed, illegal activities, in accordance with national laws.

This case highlights the alertness of Tunisian security agencies in tackling establishments that attempt to deviate from their legal purpose, using legitimate commercial activities as a shield for practices that violate public order.
