In a significant move reflecting the renewed “US-Japan” alliance, President Donald Trump has announced his absolute support for Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, ahead of the national elections scheduled for this Sunday.

Public Endorsement via “Truth Social” Through his “Truth Social” platform, President Trump praised Takaichi’s efforts, calling her an “extraordinary” leader. Trump posted: “As President of the United States, I am honored to give my Full and Total Endorsement to Takaichi and what her respected Coalition represents.” Additionally, the White House confirmed an official summit between the two leaders in Washington on March 19th.

Takaichi’s Election Challenge: Economic and Military Ambitions Sanae Takaichi, the first female Prime Minister in Japan’s history, is heading into the elections seeking a strong public mandate for her ambitious agenda: expansive government spending to revive the economy and a military buildup to counter regional threats.
